But Not Without You

Don’t let me fall asleep
Until the rain stops
Sadness belongs not in Heaven
Where those who left before
Who are needed still reside
Raise me up! Raise me!
With the power to cure hurt
While remaining unhurt
But then how will I know?
How will I understand?
How can I bear the rain
Beside she in the rain
If I could not feel her
Or know of her tears
Or live of her fears
As I wipe from her cheeks
Unhollow waters
And wish for the rain to stop?
But not for me
For as long as she needs me
This is where I reside
I can live without Heaven

    1. Thank you. 🙂

By the way, send me an email, tell me how you’re doing. I’m not so much of a celebrity yet that I won’t reply.

I’ll probably get there eventually, though. Haha. 😉
