Lighthouse (Where May Go)

A tower in the clouds
Carries a single soul
Beaten and weathered
By gusts of life

Lights float ‘round
Travel where they may
Together
They find a way

But where may go
The single soul
Without root or wings
Or want for things

Where may go
When tears shed not
And the river dries
Good intentions rot

Where may go
When all dark days
Lack gloomy skies
A single soul craves

Where may go
As a path holds true
Beneath stars sought
Over hushing blue
